Palm Bay's Big 50th!!!

Big things are happening at Palm Bay! This year is our historic 50th year! 50 years is a big deal! 50 years of community, 50 years of learning, 50 years of students and hundreds of thousands of lives affected on this campus! SGA is planning a big 50th Bash to celebrate the intersection of this school on the community and everyone is invited!!!

On March 13th, students, family, alumni, and community members are welcomed back on campus to walk the halls, participate in games, win prizes, meet community members and vendors who are connected with Palm Bay High! This is an amazing time to look back on the history of Palm Bay High and the future of all it continues to be! Festivities will start at 5:30pm at the stadium. We look forward to seeing you there!

PBMHS has been selected to give the Youth Truth Survey in select classrooms this year. Those classrooms were preselected by the district, and permission slips for parents to opt for their child to participate are being sent out in those select 2nd period classes starting Feb. 24th.
The survey will take place on Monday, March 2nd in those select 2nd period classes. If you would like more information about the survey, please contact Ms. Fig at figueroa.kimberly@brevardschools.org. Or you can call the Dean's Office and request to speak with her.

Career & Technical Education Internships - Apply by January

Open to students during their senior year, this exciting opportunity can connect students in our CTE programs with real on-the-job experiences ! Students will be placed into internships in the field of their CTE program experience. Students must have completed at least two classes in their CTE curriculum with a "C" grade or higher. Apply now!

We have our last chance on-campus senior portrait day scheduled for next Friday, January 16th. DSP will be in room 7-106 taking pictures all day. This is for any senior who has not made an appointment to get their senior portraits done prior to this date. For those seniors who still want to go to DSP, the last day to get their senior portrait in the yearbook is next Saturday, January 17th.

Shirt, jacket, and tie will be available for boys, and drapes will be available for girls. Girls getting their picture taken should wear something that can easily come down off the shoulder in order to wear the drape.

There is no charge to students for getting their photos done on campus. There is no sign-up on DSP’s website. Walk-ins are accepted and encouraged.
